The Yale School of Art offers Universal Systems ILS 12.150D laser cutter with a 24” by 48” bed for use by Yale School of Art graduate students.
Access
- The laser cutter is for use by Yale School of Art graduate students only.
- No after-hours or weekend use.
- Do not work alone.
- A trained monitor or lab manager must be present.
- Sign up to use the lab using the Laser Lab Signup Sheet. (Google doc)

Training
- Video training must be completed before attending in-person training. (Google form)
- In-person training is held once per year at the start of the fall semester.

Only wood, paper, and cardboard are pre-approved. Please consult the Approved Materials & Hazards List. (Google doc)
