Alex received a BFA in 2007 and an MFA in 2011 from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. He is a co-founder with Aay Preston-Myint of No Coast, a publisher of artist’s editions and books. He has had recent solo exhibitions at the London Center for Book Arts (London), Fernwey Gallery (Chicago), and Johalla Projects (Chicago). He has presented his printed and published work at international art book and print fairs in Los Angeles, New York, Vancouver, London, and Tokyo. Alex was first appointed Lecturer in Painting/Printmaking at Yale in 2017.
